The Colors of Fall-October 9, 2016

It’s a time to harvest the sun-touched grain.  As the days shorten and the mums bloom we celebrate with a  blaze of color.  Frost has touched the land and the hardy garden greens sweeten. Brussels sprouts are best harvested now. These fiery days are a time to rejoice and prepare for the next season.

We hope these Technicolor days persist for a good while and slowly lead us into the winter months.  If ever a time to slow the seasons, now is the time.  Take it all in, to dream of warm fall days as the inevitable approaches.
