Transition-March 20, 2016

It seems to have arrived early this year.  The time of year when our lakes make up their minds if they are covered in ice or open water; if it is winter or spring.  One day the earthworms lay on the wet surface of the land, the next a coating of snow has replaced the worms.  We now also return to days which are longer than the nights.

In the greenhouse too, it is a time of transition.  Plant benches go from empty, steel skeletons to green, living landscapes.  Now we even begin to see the transition from green to vibrant color as early flowers begin to bloom.  It is an exciting time both in the greenhouse and outside.
