Blooming Time-Aug. 6, 2017

Color is the rule of the day right now.  There are only a few flowers that haven’t bloomed.  If April showers bring May flowers, then August showers bring the rest.  The native prairie is a sea of color right now and this week’s timely rain will assure a nice show of blazing hues.  In the marshes the cattails are in full bloom and in the many rural counties around the state another colorful sight has popped up on the many fairgrounds.
