Carvings in the Fall Woods-September 18, 2017

There are a lot of carvings in the fall woods.  Some are mysteriously man-made, others are sculpted by the ever-changing flora and fauna of the season in transition.

Fall-blooming asters now are in abundance as the native grasses take on their bronzed appearance and blush in the shortening days.  It is the week of the autumnal equinox and soon stronger seasonal changes will be carved upon the landscape.
