Equinox Bounty-September 25, 2016

The days and nights are about equal in duration now and as we dive into the coming season of ever-cooling weather and shorter days, some hardy standbys persist.

The rough and tumble Dinosaur kale has come into its own and will withstand many frosts before giving up.   Honey gold apples have now reached their peak in flavor.  The transitional highlights of fall continue to gift us as the season marches onward.
