It’s that time of year again. The trusty native Blanket Flowers are straining to get every last remnant of bloom-time from the waning season. Even encrusted with October snow they staunchly hold their own. As wind-blown streaks of late-fall precipitation bear down upon us, we wonder if it will fall as rain, sleet, snow, or ice pellets. We are now on the edge of a precipice which will shortly drop us into a new season.
