Summer, Seventeen-July 9, 2017

The colors have arrived in full force.  The week’s favorite native plant is the Lead Plant (Amorpha canadensis), with its intricate leaves and lavender spikes.  Yet we can’t forget the stunning annuals and the luscious vegetables in the garden either.

We’ve been seeing a lot of coyotes out and about in the broad daylight.  I suppose it’s the season when they have lots of hungry pups to feed and need to work overtime to keep them all fed.  Sound familiar?  Ah, Summer!
