These are the days of seventeen hours of daylight. It is peak nesting time for birds, the grass seems to need mowing about every few days, there is a frenzy to complete planting of fields and gardens, and all of Flyover Country is in blazing hyper-drive! The Pasque Flowers are finishing their blooming with the “electrified” look of the post-bloom flower-heads, an interesting sight.
