Turning It All Inside-Out-October 17, 2015

Just as the land seemed to have covered itself with a fine layer of luscious green, the shorter days and frosty nights have turned it all to tattered ribbons of a summer past.

Some of the golden brown spent foliage remains on the land, while other areas are turned inside out in preparation for another crop.  Soon frost will jab its icy fingers into the whole landscape and hold it in suspension until the warm call of spring beckons it once again.
