The Colors of Summer

What can we say beyond seeing these colors?  Planters full of annuals are at their peak.  Native coneflowers and rudbeckias fill the grasslands.  Cup plants tower above the other plants and wild petunias hide in the shadows, all awaiting the multi-colored storm clouds which will bring the next rainfall.

I didn't get the whole blog just the first paragraph. But I wanted to comment on your family outing. Thoese energetic grandkids are the forefront of the camera. We learn to take our place, like our parents once did, and are maybe caught in the background of the photo. Nevertheless, those kids put smiles on ones face. bz
